I've wanted to make the boys felted Easter Egg baskets for hunting with and with Easter just around the corner I thought it was time I got around to it.

The pattern is here; its very simple knit and makes a lovely basket. I wanted to use up the scraps of Cleckheaton Vintage Hues I had so the baskets are smaller than the pattern calls, each basket used 60g of Vintage Hues.

We took the boys down to Cape Otway for a weekend camping trip. We had the best time; bushwalking to see the spectacular waterfalls, roasting marshmallows, visiting Cape Otway lighthouse and meeting the cutest koala.
